If you've ever made a personal website, you'll know how difficult it is to write about yourself, so here I have prepared some questions and answers about me.

so you're only 16 years old?

Yes, I'm 16 otherwise I wouldn't have put it. Before you go on about how age matters, let me tell you one thing that is more important than experience or age. Ability - to write code, you have to be able to understand how it works. Code is mainly logic, in my opinion, so a web developer has to be a very logical person. The way forward is to be able to keep up with new trends, and still keep in mind the old ones. What could be a better age than mine to be taking all of this in. Over the past few years, I've taken in a huge amount of knowledge about computers and the internet (and how they work), knowledge that people older than me, might not be able to pick up as quicky.

what computers do you use?

At the moment I have eight computers, all running either Windows or Linux. I am also an Apple Macbook owner, the white one with 2GB RAM, 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 160GB HDD. Most of the web development is done on my Packard Bell desktop, with a 2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, 1.6TB HDD with a 22" Acer LCD monitor (1680x1050 resolution) and a 19" Acer LCD monitor (1440x900 resolution) which runs Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. My main linux desktop machine is an Acer Aspire Revo running Ubuntu 9.10. I have two 14" laptops, both with 1GB RAM and Intel Celeron processors, running Windows XP. When I'm out and about I have an Advent netbook along with full mobile broadband. It has 1GB RAM, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 160GB HDD and is dual booted with Windows XP and Ubuntu 9.10. My mobile phone is the HTC Touch Diamond running Windows Mobile 6.1 with HTC's TouchFLO 3D user interface.

Now onto my servers, the main server runs Windows Server 2008 and powers my family intranet, each of our file shares, backup, archiving, PHP development environment, internal proxy server, and more. It has 1GB RAM, a 2.0GHz Intel Pentium 4 processor and four separate HDDs totalling just over 1TB of storage. My other server has 512MB RAM and runs Windows XP, this manages my captive portal for my guest wireless network.

As well as computers, I am also a home cinema enthusiast and have my own setup that consists of an Optoma DLP projector, Sony PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, DTV box, Sony PS2, a video machine, and a 1990 Sega Megadrive. These are all connected to a switch which also outputs to my 5.1 surround sound system, minus the PlayStation 3 which is hooked up using a HDMI to DVI cable.

Please understand that due to my age I cannot work to deadlines that are too strict, I do have school and a social life too. It's unhealthly working too much. Having said that I always put my 100% effort into everything. Failure isn't an option.
