hello and welcome

This is the website of 16 year old British web developer Callum Haywood. It is intended to be a place where you can see what work I've completed, my thoughts about technology and where you can contact me.

Currently I am accepting small to medium sized freelance projects. Despite my age, I am an able developer whose ability is inspired by a deep interest in computers and the internet. For examples of work I've completed in the past for clients, you should take a quick look at my portfolio.

I have been interested in the technical side of computers ever since a few years after our first ever machine. At first, it was just a computer, but then I started to learn more and more about it. Then I got a book on HTML which is what got me started on web design. Naturally the first websites I created were very fundamental, and looking back at the archives, pretty terrible too! It was shortly after this that I started learning about the wonders of CSS. I then moved onto PHP, which is my favourite coding language so far which lead me into server management and configuration. I now run two Windows servers from home and manage a network of around 15 devices and machines.
